In accordance with F.S. § 775.21(9), all elected officials, public agencies, and public
employees are immune from civil liability from damages for good faith compliance with
the recording and reporting requirements of this division. The provisions of this
division shall not be construed to create any duty, responsibility, or obligation
for any elected officials, public agencies or public employees. Violation of the provisions
of this division by any elected official, public agency or public employee does not
constitute negligence per se.
