§ 20-4. All-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and other small recreational-type vehicles; license.

(a)

This section shall apply to gasoline engine and electric motor-type recreational vehicles and motorbikes within the following specifications: 50 inches or less in width, with a dry weight of less than 600 pounds.

(b)

These vehicles are not to be driven on publicly owned property without legal license tags.

(c)

Motorbikes, mopeds, and motorcycles, if street certified and properly tagged, may be driven on the town streets providing the driver of such vehicle is properly licensed to operate the vehicle and the vehicle meets state safety standards.
