§ 6-1. Florida Building Code adopted.

  • (a)

    The Florida Building Code, as published by the International Code Council, Inc, as it may be amended from time-to-time by the International Code Council, Inc. and by the town is hereby adopted as the building code of the town.

    (b)

    All the rules, regulations and provisions set forth in such code are hereby declared to be the rules, regulations and provisions for building and construction for the town as fully and completely as if set forth in this section.

    (c)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to violate any of the provisions of this section or of the code adopted herein. Any person convicted of violating the terms of this section or of such code shall be punished as provided in section 1-12 or otherwise as provided by law. Furthermore, the town shall be entitled to injunctive relief to halt violation of this article or of the Florida Building Code.
